Replacing 8 gooseneck presses with a double upright press to improve the energy efficiency of the machine plant in FORMIN, S.A., in Castellbell i Vilar.
With the aim of reducing energy consumption, this project consisted of replacing the mechanical presses with a gooseneck, by a mechanical press with double upright technology.
This project to improve energy efficiency has allowed to achieve an electric energy saving of 206,508 MWh / year.
This project has been subsidized by the “IDAE aid program for SMEs and large companies in the Industrial Sector”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE) under the National Energy Efficiency Fund.
