FORMINSA has been CDTI grant recipient from CIIP-20242022 PROJECT (BEAMSHAPE) in which it will introduce an improved product for the e-mobility sector from the period of 01/10/2024 to 31/03/2027.
It consists of an intelligent and dynamic shaping from laser beam (MPLC Multi Plane Light Conversor) that allows carrying out personalized laser welding processes and in hard-to-weld metallic materials such as copper and/or aluminum widely used in the e-mobility sector, and specially in the production of electric battery components such as busbars.
BEAMSHAPE includes real-time infrared (IR) image process monitoring and the generation of a digital platform that offers data analysis services based on artificial intelligence (AI) in order to correlate process stability, generation of defects and process parameters.
